I currently manage help desk IT assets and the tracking system used for those assets. I manage the help desk assets for all Walden University US locations. My goal is to improve efficiency, accuracy, reduce cost and asset loss.
I support over 175 local users with the help of my teammate. We are also in a queue with on average, 5 other techs, receiving tickets for customers around the world who work for laureate.
My main responsibilities consisted of data entry and transfer to a new database launch by digital air strike. i also lead the deployment of a new separate database for them as well as assisted my fellow employee's with low level tech issues. these issues consisted of Microsoft OS, Outlook, and MS office.
i assisted students with any problems they had navigating school websites, MS office programs or using things like a printer/scanner. i also cleaned and prepared class rooms for our faculty.
