I was born in Portugal and came to the U.S. when I was 11 years old. I was already a car guy so ending up in the Detroit area working in the auto industry was the perfect path for me. As a car enthusiast obsessed with total vehicle quality I'm at my best when I can use my skills to give customers the highest quality vehicles they can find. If I had to describe myself with 3 adjectives, they would be: Observant, Assured, and Unruffled. Integrity and accuracy are paramount in everything I do. I try not to take myself too seriously but when it comes to my work, I make sure things are done right the first time. I love working with people from different cultures with varied points of view. I speak Portuguese and Spanish fluently and can handle basic French. Attending a German school until the 4th grade gave me a good foundation but lack of practice has let my German get very rusty. I love to travel and have a passion for finding the perfect driving road. I am now living near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and am open to remote work or limited time contract work that requires travel.
I was offered early retirement from Stellantis and decided to take it. The timing was perfect to give me more time with my parents and to plan my move to Pennsylvania. Once things settle down I plan to look for a part-time position that keeps me involved with automotive quality. That's my passion. I am now living near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. I am open to remote work or limited time contract work that requires travel.
