About

I received my Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2015 from Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, having complemented my academic studies with a post graduation in Project Management. With a background in hydro power plant BOP design while working at Efacec, I moved onto speacilized studies at EDP Labelec from 2020 in the Department of Technical Studies, and since 2022 to present day at Siemens PTI.

Experience

  • Consultant at Grid Simulation SW & Power Technologies International Division at Siemens
    Jul 2022 - Present · 4 yrs

The Spain and Portugal PTI team provides power system consulting services, with a focus on industrial design, power transmission and generation and renewable integration in microgrids, with a focus on BESS systems. The team is focused on: - Power system modeling and grid consulting data. - Grid analysis and design. - System interconnection and grid code compliance. - System dynamics and transients. - Protection coordination and selectivity. - Power quality analysis.

  • Power Systems Engineer at EDP Labelec
