I have over 11 years of experience working within the European Institutions, focusing on economic, monetary, financial, and taxation policies, as well as Eastern Europe. I currently serve in the Cabinet of Commissioner for Agriculture and Food, Christophe Hansen, where I work on economic sustainability, relations with financial institutions, and enlargement countries. Beyond my professional role, I am passionate about communicating EU policies in an accessible way. As the Policy Assistant in the Cabinet of the Commissioner for Agriculture and Food I am responsible for: ✅ Economic sustainability, agricultural economics and statistics, ✅ Agricultural risk management instruments ✅ CAP annual budget ✅ Ukraine (agricultural aspects) ✅ Enlargement and Eastern neighbourhood, IPARD ✅ Relations with EIB, financial institutions (access to finance) and EUROSTAT Moreover, the following topics outside of the portfolio of the Commissioner fall under my responsibilities: ☑️ Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), ☑️ Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), NextGenerationEU, ☑️ European Semester, ☑️ Financial Services, Savings and Investment Union, ☑️ Taxation, ☑️ Cohesion and Reforms, ☑️ Defence. I am the country coordinator for Poland 🇵🇱 , Latvia 🇱🇻 , Lithuania 🇱🇹 , Estonia 🇪🇪 , Slovakia 🇸🇰
The IFP launched a new line of action: new EU taxes. Also a working group under my leadership was formed.
*Adviser to the Vice-President of the S&D Group (Socialdemocrats) in the European Parliament / Full Member in the ECON and FISC Committees (MEP Marek Belka) *Research, analysis and advice on issues concerning economic affairs mostly connected to tax, payments (PSR, PSD3 and Instant Payments) and macroeconomics (ECON Committee / FISC Subcommittee), *Focus on taxation (incl. the VAT Directive) as well as dossiers connected to CCPs, Just Transition Mechanism, Taxonomy, the Banking Union (incl. support to banks during the COVID-19 pandemics), Instant Payments, PSD3, PSR; *Drafting amendments, *Writing speeches, briefings, interviews, press releases, *Contacting media and working with other politicians and their teams, *Translation of documents from and into English, German, Russian and Polish, *Meeting with stakeholders concerning the issues Professor Belka is working on.
*Adviser to the Chair of the European Parliament's Delegation the the EU - Ukraine Parliamentary Assembly Committee as well as the EPP Coordinator / Spokesperson in the PANA Inquiry Committee and the TAX3 Special Committee (MEP Dariusz Rosati) *Research, analysis and advice on issues concerning Ukraine and economic affairs mostly connected to tax (ECON Committee / PANA Committee / TAX3 Committee), *Drafting amendments, speeches, briefings, interviews, press releases, *Contacting media, *Translation of documents from and into English, German, Russian and Polish, *Meeting with stakeholders concerning the issues Professor Rosati is working on.
