I build and scale finance and operations functions in regulated financial institutions — from licensed banks to digital asset infrastructure. Over the past decade, I've co-founded and operated regulated entities across banking, securitisation, fund management, and digital assets — covering BaFin, CSSF, KWG, WpIG, MiCAR, and DORA frameworks. My work consistently sits at the intersection of capital structure, regulation, and operational scaling. Currently: Co-Founder and Group CFO of Tradevest Group, overseeing finance, governance, and regulatory affairs across a WpIG-licensed securities institution, a KWG-licensed crypto custodian, and a technology platform in Poland. Selected track record: → Bankhaus von der Heydt — COO & CFO of one of Europe's first regulated digital asset banks, combining traditional credit institution operations with crypto custody and on-ramp services under BaFin supervision. → von der Heydt Securitisation (Luxembourg) — built and ran a white-label platform structuring real-asset and bespoke financings for institutional investors, asset managers, and family offices. → von der Heydt Invest (Luxembourg) — restructured a CSSF-authorised UCITS/AIF management company as MD, CFO and CRO. What interests me: scaling growth companies and regulated platforms where finance is a strategic function, not a cost center — at the intersection of capital, regulation, and operational complexity.
Responsible for regulated securities and trading operations under WpIG & MiCAR licenses. Leading the development of tokenized structured products and institutional market access for European professional investors under WpIG & MiCAR licenses.
Oversaw MiCAR license application, ICT risk management, and DORA-compliant outsourcing framework. Built custody architecture integrating fiat, crypto, and tokenized assets.

Built WAWEX from scratch, the group’s trading and technology platform, forming the backbone of Tradevest’s internal market infrastructure. Built the platform’s initial exchange architecture and liquidity framework for digital assets and tokenized products. Transitioned operational management to the local team in early 2025 and continue to oversee strategic and governance aspects from the Tradevest Group level.
Built and scaled one of Europe’s first fully digital asset banks (Bankhaus von der Heydt), pioneering regulated crypto-custody, on-ramp and staking services under BaFin supervision. Led cross-functional teams in product, tech, finance, risk, and operations to deliver compliant DLT-based banking infrastructure.
