European rail transport is on the move – this enables us to prepare our customers’ vehicles to meet their current and future needs. • As a project leader I am responsible for the integration of train control systems in the existing Vectron platform for international traffic with a special focus on France. • In the platform, I am the interface to all relevant stakeholders such as sales, engineering, approval, authorities, commissioning, manufacturing, headquarter, service, procurement and quality. I am in regular contact with our European-wide customers (state railways, private operators, leasing companies). • I coordinate and manage our train control suppliers efficiently and develop a strategy and a schedule to determine the successful project execution within the specified timeframe. • With my technical expertise, I contribute to develop complete and intelligent technical concepts. That occurs hand in hand with Siemens team of experts in the engineering field. • I share the know-how gained from projects internally and use it for technical optimisations and further improvements of customer relations.
Due to my long experience in project quality and engineering methods and tools, I support Project Management Shared Services of BU VAL as Expert.
Inside VAL Business unit, responsible for full automated metro turnkey project, I'm Technical support specialist. Firstly I assume the consistency of PLM related processes use in projects and in engineering departments. Secondly I assume the teams trainings and key expert role for processes application. For that I define tools and processes, I shall verify the efficient use by Siemens teams and I shall ensure appropriate actions to level up the global quality of work execution.
