About

Paweł Sawicki, born in 1970 in Warsaw, is a musician and industrial design architect. He holds a Master of Arts degree and is a lover of cultural syncretism. From the beginning of his professional career, he has been formally associated with artistic institutions in Warsaw. Starting in 1992, while still a student, he worked with Polish Radio and the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, as well as the National Opera, and after completing his education in 1994, with the National Philharmonic. He has collaborated with Warsaw’s dramatic theaters— “Powszechny,” “Studio,” “Dramatyczny,” and “Ateneum”—as well as the “Roma” Musical Theatre. He is a co-founder of the publishing studio of the Pro Musica Camerata Foundation, attached to the Warsaw Chamber Opera. As a publisher, he produced facsimiles of all the works of Frédéric Chopin. He also created the Mozart Festival in Warsaw. In 1995, as Marketing Director of the Karol Szymanowski Foundation, he laid the groundwork for the “Little Philharmonic,” organizing the structural conditions for this impresario cultural institution. He specialized in designing and producing POS materials for brands such as Carlsberg, Soraya, Lirene, Polsat, Grupa Żywiec, Kamis, Nestlé, Red Bull, Unilever, Wilkinson, Danone, Wedel, Perfetti Van Melle, Mapei, Motorola, Pepsi-Lay’s, Stork, USPharmacia, Jacobs Douwe Egberts, Western Union, British American Tobacco, Cederroth, Philip Morris, GlaxoSmithKline, PKO BP, PKO S.A., Procter & Gamble, Lotos S.A., Herbapol, Storck, British Petroleum, Ferrero Rocher, Schulstad, Mondelez, Tchibo, Maspex, Goodyear, and many other international corporate entities—particularly within the beauty sector. Over time, he expanded his competencies to include product brand architecture and media communication strategy management. Between 1998 and 2023, alongside his design activities, he was the Artistic Director of the Johann Strauss Orchestra, achieving artistic successes in England, France, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, and Germany. He is also the creator of the “Manufaktura Miody Polskie” brand. His awards include, among others, the Icarus of Business and honors bestowed by the Marshals of the Senate of the Republic of Poland.
