As an anaesthesiologist, I love to observe in the OR. I get to work with many surgeons and see the problems they are dealing with. It often prompts me to look for solutions or alternatives. Over time, this led me into medical device development, with a particular focus on endourology irrigation. I’m especially interested in researching how fluid behaviour affects pressure, visibility, outflow, and control during URS and RIRS.
Wismed develops and trades with medical devices for minimaly invasive surgery, anaesthetic and orthopaedics. We also offer consulting in field of medical devices development, prototyping , manufacturing and IP protection.
