Maintain, nurture, and grow a book of business, with a particular focus on made-to measure. Partner with the merchant team to allocate product not purchased for the market based on fashion trends and client tastes, as well as request replenishment based on sell-through. Re-merchandise sales floor based on sell-through and new product arrival, in partnership with the corporate visual team. Supervise sales staff, consistently enforce and demonstrate company standards, policies and procedures. Provide product knowledge training and development. Organize and maintain department stockrooms, assist in inventory preparation and execution.
Complete 3 month training program comprising of body measurements, fabrics knowledge, garment construction and alteration, and sales psychology. Maintain a book of business by nurturing client relationships and drive sales via appointment only basis. Utilize existing relationships and prospecting efforts to obtain new clients. Work with production team to perpetually improve customer service. Report client feedback to assist creative team with streamlining product from concept to execution.
Provide a luxury service experience and demonstrate expertise in styling and wardrobing by cultivating client relationships. Drive business via client book to work primarily “by appointment” promoting client loyalty and increasing spend. Coach associates in best practices by partnering to assist their transactions and elevating service to the highest standards. Demonstrate creativity in, and proactively generate new business, execute group appointments, and identifying local business opportunities. Partner with management and corporate to generate new business via networking connections.
Meet department sales plan by serving as leader and working closely with and developing peers to build the business. Educate associates and new hires about product via training seminars. Provide business insight to upper management in regards to plan, sales metrics, associate productivity, product feedback from associates and customers. Build, and assist associates in building clientele through reach out. Work with visual and merchandising teams to identify best/slow sellers, allocation, product needs and replenishment. Maintain thorough understanding of inventory and product knowledge.
Solely responsible for all aspects of the Men’s Business including sales goals, product knowledge, and client outreach. Train associates, new hires, and other district locations in clienteling best practices. Create and coordinate events to showcase collections and limited collaborations and releases.
