IEEE (SM´19 ) received M. Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of West Bohemia, Czech Republic in 2002 and 2005,he recieved MBA in 2024. He was a student of the University of Applied Science, Fachhochschule, Regensburg, Germany, worked at the Department of Research, Maschienenenfabrik Reinhausen, Germany 2003/2004. In the years 2006–2007 he was a Postdoctoral Associate, High Voltage Laboratory of ECE, Mississippi State University, MS, USA. In the year 2008 became dr. hab. University of Zilina, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Slovakia, was vice dean FEE UWB, 2021 Full Prof. FEE UWB in Pilsen, he has a pilot's license for light aircraft.
