As a Sales Engineer at CloudBees, I partner with enterprise customers to accelerate their software delivery and DevSecOps transformation through the adoption of CloudBees’ CI/CD and enterprise software delivery solutions. Key Responsibilities - Serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers, aligning CloudBees’ solutions with their business and technical goals. - Lead product demonstrations, technical workshops, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) showcasing the value of CloudBees’ CI/CD, release orchestration, and software supply chain security solutions. - Collaborate closely with account executives to design solution strategies that address customer challenges in CI/CD, governance, compliance, and developer productivity. - Guide customers in best practices for DevOps, GitOps, and software delivery automation at scale. - Influence product direction by gathering customer feedback and partnering with Product Management and Engineering teams. • Engage with customer to collect the requirements, design the total solutions based on VMware Tanzu Portfolio, perform the PoC test, and support the partner/service team for the service delivery; • Present vision, strategy, and product roadmaps of VMware Tanzu to executives and technical leaders; • Work with the core sales and pre-sales team to develop and implement account strategies and drive the adoption of VMWare Tanzu solutions within strategic accounts. • Use knowledge of competitive solutions to help the core sales and field teams propose the most optimal solution for the customer • Present and market the design and value of the proposed VMWare Tanzu solution and business case to customers and prospects. • Provide Tanzu product enablement sessions for both VMWare sales/pre-sales and partner sales/pre-sales teams; • Configure and document VMWare Tanzu software, hardware, and service solutions to meet customer and sales objectives.
• Engage with customer to collect the requirements, design the total solutions based on Pivotal Product Portfolio, and perform the PoC test; • Deliver CICD/DevOps services based on Pivotal Cloud Foundry/Pivotal Container Services in the field; • Present Pivotal vision, strategy, and product roadmaps to executives and technical leaders; • Work with the sales team to develop and implement account strategies and drive the adoption of Pivotal solutions including PCF and Pivotal Labs etc. within strategic accounts; • Qualifies sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision-making process, and funding. • Use knowledge of competitive solutions to help the sales and field engineering teams propose the most optimal solution for the customer • Present and market the design and value of the proposed Pivotal solution and business case to customers and prospects. • Builds relationships with the account team, partners, and customers in support of sales team objectives • Configure and document Pivotal software, hardware, and service solutions to meet customer and sales objectives. Participate in RFx and drive POCs. • Work collaboratively with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and Engineering during the development, launch, and continuing refinement of Pivotal products
- Responsible for the architecture design of the product platform (IOT based solution mainly for Custom, Public Safety and Logistics, etc.), as well as its continuous evolving and optimization; - Support the architecture design of critical customer projects to ensure the alignment and efficient support of the product platform; - Support the customer projects with the system level component design, such as storage, caching, transaction, sub-system interaction and data exchange, etc. - Responsible for research and evaluation of new technology, and introducing them into the product and project development when situation applies; - Participate the planning process of new products, and define the roadmap for the technologies adopted by products; - Responsible for solving the major technical issues in development, ensure the security, performance, stability, scalability and managibility of the whole system; - Provide technical support for the pre-sales and marketing activities; - Responsible for training software engineers and other related departments; Major Skills: - System/software architecture design, Java/J2EE, IoT related technology (MQTT, LWM2M, CoAP), storage, Security, etc.
