- Reported to CEO in Executive Leadership Team role at market-leading $5B public biotech designed to bridge pipeline strategy, business development, commercial, and development functions after acquisition of Viatris’ US Commercial infrastructure. - Identified pillars for pipeline strategy. Worked with key payers/PBMs to position and commercialize portfolio. - Led Alliance Management function. Oversaw 20 biosimilar development programs and managed team of 50 people. Saved 9 months in manufacturing strategy, ensuring market readiness. - Formulated strategies and negotiated with partners for business development approaches to enter critical technology areas.
- Oversaw Global Business Development function (2021-2022). Guided out-licensing and in-licensing negotiations for regional and global biosimilar partnerships in Europe and Japan, and novel product development/manufacturing collaborations including for COVID antibody development. - Developed payer, patient and cash strategies for US insulin launch based on in-depth payer, provider, and patient research, including sophisticated conjoint pricing and placement analysis.
- Doubled global biosimilars sales to $200M, managing regional commercialization teams’ execution against quarterly sales targets. Key driver in establishment of business development deal enabling Brazil public-private partnership to access ~$150M Brazilian public market. - Met with members of Congress to push for efficient insulin biosimilar pathway, contributing to FDA decision to hold hearing on biosimilar requirements for insulins
