As advisor & Interim COO I worked closely with the business owner & leadership team of this specialist Compliance & Financial Crime recruitment business to develop & implement a growth strategy, as the company transitioned from a "lifestyle" business. Achievements (2yr period) - T/O increased by 147% - NFI increased by 106% - PBIT increased by 126% My primary responsibilities included: Strategic advisor to business founder & owner Business development strategy & planning Talent Sourcing(internal), training, coaching & mentoring Financial planning & management Marketing, Web & Social Media strategy
Investor/Advisor in a company which developed/distributed a portable lighting system for sports coaching and training purposes. Customers included schools, universities, sports clubs and charitable foundations.
Working with core members of the previous management team from Techpartners & new VC's, we established a new start-up venture specializing in recruitment for the FinTech & Life Sciences sectors. Built an international £40m business in 5 years, exited via a trade sale to Hays, one of the world’s largest recruitment businesses.
Combining my passion for business & sport, with highly qualified English coaches, i established one of the first independent "soccer" & educational sports academies in the USA, to coach, educate & manage outstanding young soccer talent with a view to discovering/managing talent through to elite professional football clubs around the world.
