After a 10-year tenure as an executive at Vivo, where I built a solid and rising career, I chose to leave corporate stability behind to pursue entrepreneurship. Alongside two partners, I co-founded Unico IDtech, a pioneer and market leader in facial recognition in Brazil, where I continue to serve as a shareholder. We had the privilege of scaling Unico to Unicorn status—a milestone achieved by just over 20 companies in Brazil and around 1,200 worldwide. In its latest funding round, the company reached a valuation of over $2.6 billion. Over more than 15 years steering Unico’s operations, I operated across multiple strategic fronts, including Governance, Finance, People, Customer Success, Management & Operations, Strategic Planning, Internationalization, and M&A, leading diverse teams and establishing a reputation as an impactful leader. During this journey, we acquired 7 companies, and I actively participated in 4 fundraising rounds with global venture capital and private equity funds. Today, I leverage this background as a Mentor, Advisor, Board Member, and Investor, supporting entrepreneurs in maintaining focus, overcoming challenges, and building resilient, highly scalable businesses.

During my 15-year entrepreneurial journey at Unico, I experienced every pivotal stage of the company's lifecycle: from the initial conversations, early blueprints, and the first business plan, to hiring employee #1, landing our first client, and navigating our first pivot. I was there for our first M&A transaction, our first institutional investor, and the building of our foundational executive team. Throughout this period, I steered multiple strategic functions, dedicating significant focus to leading areas such as People & Culture, Strategic Planning & Operations, Customer Success, M&A, Finance, Investor Relations, Corporate Governance, Technology, and Information Security. In my final executive role as Vice President, I directly oversaw the Finance, M&A, Internationalization, and Corporate Governance divisions.
