About

Currently, Paul is the founder of RimRubber, the GCC’s #1 Online Marketplace for Car Tyres. He uses his finely tuned skills to drive product development and create and deploy go-to-market strategies ultimately driving growth for the company. Paul is a proud and pivotal leader collaborating with the team to design and build a product, onboard vendors and drive revenues across Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates Previously, Paul was a Partner & Head of Product at Brinc, an international VC firm and the world’s first end-to-end integrated platform designed to support global Connected Hardware (IoT), Drones and Robotics, and Food Technology entrepreneurs by accelerating startups from concept to sustainable commercialisation. Paul is also a member of the Global Investment Committee and has reviewed 700+ deals teams to select 75 new investments globally. He is also a global mentor, assessing teams during due diligence for their target market and product market fit, and supporting them with one-on-one mentoring sessions. Whilst at Brinc Paul was engaged to Co-found and build Diwan, from idea to financial modelling to capital raising to construction to operations single-handedly in a period of 18 months. Leveraging his career experiences across all areas to drive success. Diwan is now Bahrain’s leading culturally connected co-working space, enabling today’s liquid workforces to revisit their workday. More impressively, during COVID-19, Paul has driven the company to OpEx break even in 7 months of operations. Regional expansion is set for 2022. Paul is the former Chief Product Officer (and current investor and board member) at Sapient Shopping – a tech startup that builds AI technologies for global eCommerce – where he directed the product experience from strategy to execution. Previously, he was Design Director of Asia at Lippincott, where he led digital strategy, tech consulting and tech innovation for the most prominent banking and consumer brands in Asia. Prior to Lippincott, he was Creative Director and Head of Operations at Gruppo Pozzi, where he leveraged 20 years of Italian heritage to launch the Middle East headquarters for a notable client list that included LVMH, L’Oreal Group and Kering Group. Earlier in his career, Paul was a Senior Environmental Designer working with the Juniper Development Group, one of Australia’s leading beachfront property developers, where he worked on concept development for high-end resort developments of US $500m+ across Australia.
