Goal 1: Significantly reduce the footprint of the clothing industry Goal 2: Create opportunities for people with a distance to the labor market Goal 3: Do it at scale in order to really change the system We provide a one-stop shop for circular solutions. Our approach is convenient, scalable and data-driven, making it easy to embrace sustainability and make a change. Our circular textile offer focuses on extending the lifetime of garments through repair programmes, reconditioning for (re-)sale and repurposing. These offerings are facilitated and strengthened by our technology layer but executed by an amazing and diverse production team.
Cherry Impact provides a range of consulting services supporting the commercial growth of young purpose-driven companies (small & medium sized). From assisting in business modelling, setting the commercial strategy and raising capital, to a hands-on approach in marketing execution, digital asset management and organizational development. Cherry Impact focusses on companies with a purpose, trying to make a positive impact on the world. It is a strong believe that by assisting these companies in scaling up, building robust companies and generating commercial growth, they can become long term successful impact companies creating blended value. Generating both a positive social/environmental and financial impact.
Makers Unite is on a big social mission. Creating opportunities for newcomers and offering a thriving wage model in an industry with a notoriously bad social reputation. In both our Amsterdam and Istanbul ateliers we produce merchandise, work wear and apparel inclusively and sustainably for fashion brands and companies. Increasingly we focus on circular by design and repurpose solutions to drastically reduce the footprint of clothing.
Impact Hub Waikato aims to change the way we do business. We believe a business should serve multiple outcomes, profit, social, cultural and environmental. We build and facilitate the eco-system for impact businesses. We do this through Community Building with our co-working spaces and events, by offering Entrepreneurial Support in the form of accelerator programmes and 1-2-1 coaching/consultancy and, finally, focusing on Impact Innovation by initiating innovative impact projects in partnerships with public and private sector organisations. Impact Hub Waikato was founded in 2019 and by now has built up a presence and awareness throughout the Waikato with two co-working spaces and has run a series of venture building programmes. We've helped 100+ impact entrepreneurs and impact businesses to become more successful and accelerate their Impact. As the Managing Director, responsible for the overall direction, development and management of the company. Next to that, responsible for the business lines Entrepreneurial support and Impact Innovation. Together with the co-founders/owners and a fantastic team of 7 we are amplifying impact in the Waikato!
