I’m a brand, communications and creative strategist with a wide variety of experience from business strategy, brand development, behavioural change, digital strategy, advertising and creative development with an effectiveness angle. Working across both consumer and business marketing, I'm passionate about good strategy, great ideas that deliver results. It's all about the WORK. I've been very fortunate to work on some of the world's best brands, solving their business problems and setting new business agendas that have a measurable impact. I have worked across most industry sectors from Automotive, IT, Telecoms, Energy Services, Financial Services and Consumer Electronics. My driving ambition is to help businesses, large and small, build mutually beneficial relationships with their customers.
This was a global role established to focus on the growth of Healthcare within the Iris network and refocus on B2B. Key achievements: 1. Winning a new client in Bayer and helping to launch a new menopause drug globally. 2. Developing the Iris health proposition, Healthcare whitepaper (5 New Dynamics of Healthcare Marketing) and IP. 3. Assisting network offices in new business development.
As the Head of Strategy, I set about rebuilding the strategy function within the agency, by defining a clear strategy and purpose for the team and recruiting strategists to the team. I had two primary roles in Germany, firstly to demonstrate the value of good strategy to clients and secondly grow the quality and quantity of our client’s work. Key achievements: 1. Global strategic lead for Alcon Surgical, developing Commercial Programs for new and existing brands across intraocular lenses (IOL’s) and surgical equipment brands. a. Developing global brand positionings, creative strategy and communication activation. 2. Successfully winning and leading Allianz Global Investors campaigns, establishing a new brand positioning and creative strategy. 3. Helping Bosch Home launch a new at-home coffee brand (VeroCafe) in North American.
My core capabilities cover brand, communication, digital and content strategies across consumer and business brands. As well as covering the Iris Business (B2B) and Iris Healthcare propositions and leading the communications planning practice, creating the bridge between creative and media strategy. Key achievements: 1. Global strategic lead on Shell’s business brand, developing new brand strategy from the outside-in. a. Taking 17 disparate product brands, with different value propositions, TOV and turning them into an integrated service brand strategy with people expertise at the heart. b. Developed the creative platform for the new brand launch, seeing brand activity being developed for the first in Shell Business’s history. 2. Global strategic lead on Roche Diagnostics, developing brand, communication and creative strategy across its diverse portfolio offering. a. Developed new product launch strategies covering product positioning, value proposition and launch strategy to differentiated product in a commoditised market b. Identified new opportunities to expand the Iris strategic offering across Roche. 3. Lead the Verisign (.com) UK brand re-launch and establish a connection to a new audience of micro small business, side hustlers, entrepreneurs and woman who wouldn’t previously considered .com. And successfully won the Verisign global business as part of an agency consolidation exercise, developing new work across emerging and mature markets. 4. Launched Alcon’s new contact lens brand (Precision1) in Australia and the UK, with behavioural change thinking at the heart of the strategy. And winning Alcon’s new Vivity brand (lens replacement technology) to be launched globally during 2022.
