About

I began my career as a Front End developer, passionately building new application components. As my career progressed, my expertise gravitated toward cloud architectures, becoming my specialty. Combining my foundational development skills with my proficiency in cloud architectures, I aspire to make significant contributions to my next organization and, perhaps, give back to the open-source community by crafting the next generation's building blocks.

  • Senior SRE at CybelAngel
    Jan 2021 - Dec 2022 · 2 yrs

CybelAngel provides a safety net for companies whose data has been stolen or misplaced by third parties. It scans in real time the entirety of the IPV4 public range, and when a server is public, checks the data to see if some are owned by one of its clients. Such infrastructure required a myriad of components. • Running and maintaining multiple Kubernetes clusters on GCP (GKE) using Terraform while supporting hundreds of microservices. • Oversaw a vast datastore, maintaining MongoDB, Redis, and Elastic clusters without utilizing the managed solution. Instead, relied on Ansible, Terraform, and several advanced features of GCP to ensure the performance and reliability of the data. • Developed GitLab pipelines for the delivery of numerous microservices and trained the development team in the usage of these pipelines, scaffolding for them the basis of any new project depending on the main technology used (Golang/Python). • Monitoring and on-call duties utilizing PagerDuty and Datadog. Also involved in reporting SLA to our clients. • Part of a team of 4 SREs for about 80 engineers with a workload of 70% discovery and 30% run.

  • Senior DevOps Engineer at CitizenPlane
