A highly adaptable senior energy and infrastructure professional approaching two decades of experience advising on and delivering public and private sector projects and programmes in the marine environment. Accomplished at building and maintaining commercial collaborations and supporting the growth and commercialisation of emerging clean technologies, including some of the world’s first wave and tidal energy demonstrators. Extensive knowledge of contract managing complex commercial property agreements, delivery of strategic leasing programmes, with strong relationship building, communication and stakeholder management skills at senior executive and government levels. Renewable energy, sustainable development and circular economic opportunities are of particular interest to me given the commercial, moral and environmental imperatives of decarbonisation, and the urgent need to deliver solutions at scale, securing a sustainable future through more responsible, efficient and accountable use of energy and natural resources. As a lifelong learner, I value critical thinking and the need for open, honest debate to find solutions to our decarbonisation, climate and sustainability challenges. I write about issues that I believe matter, to help encourage healthy, constructive discussion amongst my network. In short, I care a lot about a lot, and support others in doing the same.
