I have been delegated the responsibility of developing the algorithm based on the MSE model to estimate the hidden number of human trafficking victims in Spain within the Data Culture project led by IUEM and UNICEF. Data management, strategy, web scraping, analytical techniques, models and visualization for various projects of the Institute.
Research work at the IUEM about migration in fifty countries. Among others, we analyze the migratory flows, socioeconomic profiles, forced migrations and trafficking through a sociological, legal and geopolitical perspective.
Internship contract at the Spanish Observatory of Racism and Xenophobia, dependent of the Secretary of State for Migration. Among the functions I developed, I must highlight the monitoring of hate speech on social networks, translation and preparation of reports and development of international projects and activities with organizations such as United Nations or the European Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA).
In January 2020 I started volunteering at Acampa Madrid as a community manager. Since then we have worked with multiple activities to raise awareness about migration and refuge and Human Rights, with a special focus on Madrid. I was personally in charge of the coordination and representation of the communication team, the creation and development of the website, marketing strategy, article editing and content creation.
