About

Chartered Accountant and senior finance leader with 20+ years in capital-intensive industries — energy, chemicals, mining, and industrials - across both listed multinationals and high-growth private companies. Most recently, as Platform CFO for XRG's Global Chemicals vertical, I led the financial integration of Covestro AG following XRG's c.$16bn acquisition, while concurrently building the UK finance function for XRG's $10.8bn international investment sub-group - establishing processes, controls, and the SAP ERP platform from the ground up. Earlier at Saudi Aramco, I led several finance workstreams in preparation for the company's IPO - the largest in history - including the development and implementation of segment reporting that significantly enhanced management reporting and business planning practices. I was a core team member on the listing of Aramco's $12bn Medium-Term Note Programme, and I led the financial integration of its $69bn acquisition of SABIC. My technical foundation spans IFRS and US GAAP reporting, financial modelling, project financing (debt and equity), M&A, due diligence, and IPO readiness. What I value most is shaping finance as a strategic partner to the business - designing the governance, FP&A, and capital frameworks that let complex organisations operate with discipline and grow with confidence. I'm open to senior finance opportunities - CFO roles in particular - in energy, mining, infrastructure, renewables, chemicals, and other capital-intensive sectors. If you're looking to strengthen the finance function of a business undergoing transformation, integration, or growth, I'd welcome a conversation.
