Left school in 1965 Joined RAF in 1966 Left RAF in 1989 Started at Kent Police 1989 Left Kent Police 2011 Experience is Ground communications systems at an operational level - from telecommincations to radio transmissions. Managed Telephone Exchanges from 1977 to 1982 then communicaitons centres from 1982 to 1989. Staffing levels from 3 to 20 providing continuous training on a monthly basis and progessing their career with personal and trade assessments. 1966 - 1982 Training and experience ranged from operating a PABX to managing a fully operational communications centre providing relay for telex, fax and radio information to all functional areas of the organisation. 1980 - 1998 Training and experience ranged from C&G Computer studies at Dartford College 1980-1981, BTec Computer Studies Uxbridge Technical College (COBAL), Part time lecturer in BBC Basic Computer Programing 1981 at Uxbridge tech. 1989 dBase programing courses to build and maintain inhouse applications. 1990 SSADM and PINCE training to facilitate systems analysis and build processes. 1990 - 2010 Various technical courses in IT to enable and effective and efficient provision of service wito manage computer systems, contracts, etc. Plus various management and mandatory courses to ensure staff and management complicance to Laws and Regulations 2009 - started a CMI course on Leadership but never completed final papers as early retirement arrived with post redundancy.

    To challenge senior managers and executives with regard to changes and low performance that affect the health of the community they serve. This is done by attendance to public meetings and by direct communication on specific topics. Plus volunteering in that sector to ensure expected high standards are met and maintained.
