Answer incoming phone calls from truck driver candidates and sell Schneider's driving opportunities. Be a subject matter expert for candidates on all things related to driving jobs Schneider has available. Conduct interviews with candidates who were qualified by Recruiting Specialists and make the final hiring decision on behalf of Schneider. Meet weekly and monthly hiring goals. Maintain excellent customer service with candidates.
Recruiting Specialist Duties Include · Screening applicant resumes for qualifications · Complete 100 interviews weekly via phone to build a diverse pool of candidates · Schedule final interviews for our Employment Specialists · Reach out to resumes via phone and email to direct recruit for our open roles throughout Appleton and the Fox Cities Collaboration With Inside and Outside Team Includes · Communicate with Employment Specialists and Outside Sales Reps to ensure sales and recruiting are in sync · Demonstrate enthusiasm and excitement about new candidates you have screened for open roles · Provide updates on Recruiting status for open roles and take feedback about new ideas on how to identify candidates You are qualified for the Recruiting Specialist position if you have the following: · Excellent communication and relationship building skills · Confidence initiating conversation · Tech Savvy · Great listener and ability to ask relevant follow up questions · Ability to think and problem-solve on your feet · Humble, hungry and motivated · Upbeat attitude · Desire to work in a mission-based company that adds value to local businesses · Passion for helping others · Self-initiative to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision The base pay for this position is $15/hour and on top of that you will be eligible for individual and team performance based bonuses.
