In 2010 I started in the insurance industry as a New Business Account Handler and have been working for the Lloyd & Whyte Group since 2017. Having developed into the role of Director of Business Development (Affinity GI) in 2020 I became Director of Community Broking and Payment Plans (divisions of the Lloyd & Whyte Group) in January 2022. Appointed as Managing Director August 2023. Our community broking team is focused on delivering a highly professional level of advice to clients in our local communities. Ranging from charity to construction from farm to manufacturing. We believe in long term relationships. In 2021, we brought 3 experienced brokers together in Jo Pavey, BH&S Insurance Services and Northcott Beaton. In spring 2022 we added Eastside Insurance Services and Naturesave to the division. Latterly adding Davies Craddock and Cleddau to the team in Winter 22/23. In July 2024 we brought all of our brands together to create Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking. In April 2025 we launched Lloyd & Whyte Legal Indemnities our specialist LI team in Exeter. Naturesave was given a new look in August 2025. Our Membership Plans team provide Dental Payment Plans and Pet Healthcare Plans to the Dental and Veterinary sectors. Our brands include FlexiPlan and Privilege Plan and provide both a competitive and highly efficient solution. For insurance clients, I specialise in helping businesses make sure they have a comprehensive insurance programme sometimes covering areas which are new to them: ✔️ Underinsurance ✔️ Directors & Officers Liability ✔️ Cyber exposure I continue to be especially passionate about reviewing current insurances in place and identifying any gaps which a client may have typically visiting clients at their premises.

I worked with Managers, Team Leaders and Advisors to run a Business Development team providing specialist insurance advice to Healthcare Professionals in the Dental, GP, Optometry, Veterinary and Chiropractic sectors and Thatched Homeowners. For association members, specifically for General Insurance, we specialise in Commercial, Med Mal and Personal Lines insurance. Focusing on Surgery, Locum and Property Insurance as well as High Value Homes. Building and creating a successful sales culture across multiple locations and brands. Great fun!
I worked for Towergate Insurance and Towergate Farm Insurance in Taunton where I had the responsibility for managing our client facing retention and sales teams. Working hard with Account Executives, and fellow Managers, to achieve high retention, new business and audit targets.
