I have 31 years in the automotive industry - automotive interiors. Started as a CAD designer and transferred into engineering throughout my career. I have and I am willing to travel short term and long term to either domestic or international locations.
Current position @ IAC is EPM Director. I am currently overseeing the engineering and program management team on two vehicle platforms of the following commodities; IP / Console / Door Trim / Hard Trim commodities. Also overseeing the ramp up of a new interior program (IP / Console / Door Trim / Hard Trim commodities) launching in April of 2020.
Lead a team of engineers as a full service supplier of an instrument panel assemblies and console assemblies. Managed all required component and assembly testing to meet program deliverable and timing. Lead the team on tracking and implementing all changes, quotes and timing to meet projected timing. Support the tracking and in discussion of all reported build issues as program progress into job 1 production
Managed the instrument panel cockpit assembly from studio feasibility into launch with full engineering responsibility, design, validation responsibilities. Work overseas on the program for 2 years, working between Belgium production plant and the UK engineering offices.
Component and assembly design of front body sheet metal and later to interior components, instrument panels assemblies and console assemblies. Drafting on the board and later into CAD stations. Component level changes on mylar and CAD, studio feasibility sectional development, 3D surfacing & part modeling.
