Key responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations, schedules, and contractor performance. Coordinate bids, budgets, and contract awards for new work. Communicate with contractors, vendors, and internal departments to maintain timelines and quality. Manage capital improvements and facility upgrades across multiple campuses. Ensure compliance with safety, building, and healthcare facility standards. Provide leadership with accurate, data-driven updates and projections. Along with my project management role, I hold a Universal Refrigerant License and bring hands-on experience across multiple trades — including cabinetry, roofing, spackling, and general carpentry. Complete repairs and PM for outpatient sites and therapy pools, managing daily work orders, pool system maintenance, and preventive tasks. Perform pipe repairs, replace and rebuild pumps, and maintain mechanical systems, including pool filtration and circulation components. Support HVAC operations by diagnosing and repairing PTAC units. Routinely review Metasys (BAS) to monitor system performance across sites — often identifying issues that others overlook and notifying appropriate teams. Periodically assist Medasyst system at the main hospital, sharing insight and improving issue response when possible. Coordinate with vendors for repairs, replacement parts, and warranty work.
Selected to Provided on-site maintenance support during the opening of the new Rehabilitation Hospital. Learned and supported critical building systems including Metasys (BAS) and Lutron lighting controls. Assisted with contractor punch-lists, tracked warranty issues, and documented installed systems. Managed high volumes of email communication to coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal departments. Researched and tracked down original installers for repairs and warranty claims. Maintained system logbooks, supported daily operations, and ensured timely response to service issues.
