Achievements to date: • Implemented the ginger project; The First revisions of the boards worked with only the display connector reversed on one of the five main PCBs. with adaptor board, we were able to generate calibration curves on the instruments This approach has allowed the most complex instrument in HF’s history to be released. Along with a second product within two years. The Goal is to change only a maximum of 35% of the components for each new product. It is allowing us to do more VOC testing earlier with the customer. Particularly on the second product, the VOC customers want to place orders for the product before its launch. • Developed Altium HF component library optimized to minimize component choices. As well a minimizing schematic. Hence helping to optimize SMT build process further, adding new components to it when needed either by modification or clean sheet. • Developed the standard test system to allow for the coverage on the new standard PCB and SSR-EX PCB’s based on the test plans generate; this system I modular and hence easily scalable and transferable to new products as they come online. • Introducing MTBF and stress analysis into HF Scientific. Initially, to provide MTB information to the existing products and PCB’s. Ultimately Allowing in analysis before committing to a design as it links tightly to the cad system. • Implemented the use of the in built Altium draftsman to generate the traditional BOM/Inspection drawings HF used, rather than transferring the files to Autocad, increasing accuracy and saving time. • Recommend the Ginger platform configuration which best suits the Requirements for the NP product. As well as do power estimates for the new product to ensure the software does not try to turn on to much load. • Investigate ways to enhancing and improving the Ginger platforms flexibility and reliability when ever a new PCB spin is required.

Achievements to date: • proposed Ginger project a new system design and strategy for future PCB’a within the high valve products to standardize board increasing volumes allowing for flexible configuration and varying specification without redesign a new PCB for each project. • Pushed for validation of the USB interface. Specified and raised justified the capital expenditure, increasing the available validation equipment significantly and HF Scientifics ability to validate equipment, outside the environmental chamber and introducing test equipment probes to monitor signals within an environmental chamber. • SSR-EX electronics product design / development • Designed and developed hand-held prolight PCB TDS, temperature, and colorimetry probes • I have begun implementing formal test and validation procedures within HF scientific. • Designing PCBs in Altium, implementing a more standard parts library within HF Scientific. Learning how to use Altium designer while implementing new designs and rectifying existing methods. • Established PCBa production test plans for a significant number of HF products. This procedure’s exceeded current productions test plans as they did not rely on products to validate the PCBa and required SPC testing to validate the test systems. The existing test strategy was to use a built-in self-test without validating that it was assembled correctly, • maintained existing PCBa’s, bringing existing PCBa into line with newer Design harmonizing parts library’s, original libraries were scattered across 50 parts library’s from multiple sources. • introduced an ICD document for prolight to document the software/hardware interface
