I am a Licensed Psychologist, practicing in Minnesota. I earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from The University of Minnesota – Duluth Campus. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from St, John’s University, in Collegeville, MN. I have professional experience providing psychotherapy, evaluations, clinical supervision, and consultation across a broad continuum of settings in support of children, teens, adults, and families as well as social service, correctional, and educational agencies and organizations. Residential treatment services have included direct work with youth placed in both correctional and mental health treatment settings, and serving as Clinical Director, overseeing and supporting staff in such settings. I have served as a Clinical Supervisor to child & adolescent day treatment programs and have worked in private as well as hospital-based outpatient settings. I co-founded and managed a private group practice, Harbor City Psychological Associates. Through my career, I have developed and provided school-based therapy programs with an adventure therapy component for at-risk teens; provided home-based therapy to youth in foster care; conducted a range of clinical and forensic evaluations; collaborated with the Duluth Fetal Alcohol Diagnostic Program; and served on the Northland Children’s Mental Health Collaborative Leadership team. In addition to my clinical practice, I have been active in board governance of the Duluth Edison Charter Schools and it’s non-profit, Affiliated Building Company. In my leadership roles with these organizations, I have been active in oversight of charter school operations, facilities acquisition and ongoing facilities and campus development. I was inducted into the Duluth Edison Charter Schools Hall of Fame in 2022.
I have been active in board governance of the Duluth Edison Charter Schools and it’s non-profit, Affiliated Building Company, Tischer Creek Duluth Building Company. In my leadership roles with these organizations, I have been active in oversight of charter school operations, facilities acquisition and development.
Provide clinical supervision to a day treatment program and an outpatient counseling department. Provided individual and team psychological consultation to mental health professionals throughout all outpatient programs, including clinical supervision to therapists preparing for licensure. Collaborate on program development, ensure regulatory compliance, provide organizational leadership.
Responsible to provide and then oversee psychological services to youth placed in both juvenile justice and mental health residential treatment programs, as well as outpatient services including day treatment and community-based outpatient programs. Provided organizational leadership regarding delivery of clinical services in an effective and efficient manner and enhance professional/organizational culture building. Responsible for administrative and clinical supervision of therapists; ensure appropriate clinical services are provided residential clients; collaborate with program leadership regarding overall treatment programming; participate in agency leadership via Duluth Executive Team. Appointed as Clinical Director in 2021, assumed broader agency clinical and administrative responsibility to provide overall clinical supervision of all Duluth residential, outpatient, and day treatment clinicians and programs. Responsible for compliance with statutory requirements. Provide organizational leadership as member of agency CEO Leadership Team.
