Lead civil resource for Goldwind Australia projects in development, Construction and operational phases. I provide technical support to all Goldwind Australia projects on Design, Constructability, Cost and Safety related issues, and further support to the Goldwind Australia Sales and pre-contract divisions.
EPC delivery - Moorabool Wind Farm Direct management of the Balance of Plant Contract for Moorabool Wind Farm, including early works scope development, tendering, negotiation and contract execution phases, while also directly contributing to the development approvals process and layout design of the project.
Clough AMEC JV is contracted as the EPCM for The Daandine Expansion Project on behalf of Arrow Energy. The project consists of the engineering, design and construction of new equipment and facilities to increase the production capacity of the existing plant. The upgrade will include additional Gas Facilities, HP Pipeline Systems, Wellhead Facilities and Gathering Systems (Production Facilities) in order to achieve the above stated production rate. My role includes the following tasks & responsibilities: • Monitor the activities of Contractors to ensure compliance with specifications, schedules and plans; • Understand, review and oversee contractors activities; • Report and forecast construction progress into EPCM reports; • Review schedules, reports, work plans, construction methods and procedures; • Proactively resolves performance, scope and schedule issues with the Client; • Monitor design activities, inter-discipline data flow and communications in accordance with site requirements; • Review and oversee Contractors on-site Quality records; • Manage risk and relevant mitigations for Shutdown construction works; • Coordinate with Arrow Energy Operations and Maintenance personnel for planning of Isolations, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up; • Coordinate PTW requests with client and contractors; • Ensure material procurement and availability prior to Shutdown; • Review and oversee contractor work packs; • Ensure all shutdown safety actions are closed out prior to the facility shutdown date; • Ensure all necessary equipment and tools have inspected and certified for use;
K128 Fairview General Value: $650M+ Client: Fluor (for Santos) Clough Downer JV is contracted to construct all pipelines and facilities in the Fairview area as part of the Santos GLNG project. Working under the EPC contractor Fluor, and reporting to the Senior Project Engineer, I have gained experience in HDPE gathering network pipeline construction, Hydro and Pneumatic testing of pipelines, Foreign service / Creek crossings, pipe welding, Santos permit procedures and excavation coordination. My role includes the following tasks and responsibilities: • Manage multiple construction teams, ensuring compliance with the design and regulations of the project. • Manage the engineering requirements of multiple work crews. • Manage communications between the JV and Fluor on QA inspections, permitting, and progress etc. • Procurement of materials. • Manage construction work packs. • Assigned control of all Completions associated works, such as LPD/HPV installation, Tie-ins, Reinstatement etc. • Liase and manage walk down of completed lines with both Fluor & Santos. • Manage handover of pipelines, including punchlist completion and turnover documentation • Manage and produce the 3 week look ahead for the entire pipelines construction team
Wyndham Harbour Project Value: $85M Client: Wyndham Harbour Group The Wyndham Harbour project, valued at $85m(+), involved construction of a new 1000 berth, 41 Hectare marina , and a 215 plot subdivision. Project activities that I was directly involved in, included ; o Construction of 3 Breakwater Walls, utilising 400,000 tonnes of Rock o 120,000m3 of Bulk Earthwork activities, o Dredging of 140,000m3 material from Port Phillip Bay o Residential Civil Works, inc drainage; sewer; electrical; NBN; water & gas o Road Pavement construction o Deep drainage (>4m depth) Responsible to the Project Manager for all site operations and management, my role included such tasks as: • Undertaking Project Quality Representative (PQR) duties, • Monitor performance of all subcontractors & suppliers • Establishment and maintenance of Inspection & Test plans, • Prepare recommendations for project variations, including cost estimates • Assess project resource requirements • Monitor productivities, forecasts & costs for all activities • Produce monthly project status reports • Ensure that all OH&S objectives are being met,
Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering - Raynesway Construction Civil Site Engineer Performing a technical, organisational and supervisory role on construction projects throughout Central Scotland. The role of engineer saw me work as part of the site management team, sharing responsibility for aspects including quality control, health and safety, and the organisation and supervision of material and human resources. My role as an Engineer with Balfour Beatty typically included the following tasks on a daily basis: • All setting out & levelling survey work for the individual projects; • All take offs and calculations; • Selection and requisition of materials and plant; • Scheduling of site resources; • Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular client progress meetings • Management of subcontractors and suppliers; • Monthly detailed reports; • Site QA and OH&S, My project history with this division of Balfour Beatty included the following: • UWS Ayr Campus Construction of a new University Campus, worth approx $15 million and lasting 54 weeks. The project involved construction of 5 new car parks, road pavements, 3 roundabouts, extensive drainage and landscaping. • Coalburn, Strathaven, Linmill and Coylton Electricity Substations Construction of a new electricity substations for Scottish power, including mass concrete pours, structural concrete walls, cable & earthing trenches, control building extensions, drainage & bulk earthworks. Substations ranged from 70kv to 450kv. • Paisley Junctions Intersections Installation of new traffic signals, pedestrian footpath and road crossings in preparation for new supermarket and airport rail link system on a constantly busy stretch of dual carriageway near Glasgow Airport.
