Dynamic Senior Manager Operations in technology-driven environment, currently at Well Guidance B.V. in Holland. Comprehensive international experience in the area of drilling, upstream, logistics, “just in time” and “just in sequence” supply of construction and engineering sites as well as any other B2B and B2B2C activities with special and standard parts. Build up and/or restructure and lead transnational operations including team leadership & qualification, finance & controlling, customer management, warehousing, transport and quality management. My scope includes: • Lead international operations under diverse circumstances ranging from boom to economic downturn and consolidation including change management, restructuring, oscillating capacity demands, rapid onboarding of junior engineers and senior new hires. • Ensure highest operational efficiency by controlling and directing rig site operations while utmost safety and quality is met • Adjust operations to a broad range of demands,, e.g. for different customers, regions, geological conditions, technologies etc. • Train and empower personnel to meet targets in several dimensions, ranging from leadership and management competencies to technical and other highly specific skills such as safety. • Function as single-point-of-contact and face to the customer onsite as well as offsite to ensure optimal delivery. • Versatile experience in resolving technical and organizational problems in a time- und cost-critical environment onsite to guarantee continuous operations or minimal downtimes of equipment and machines. • Finely honed intercultural communication and negotiation skills acquired through deployments all over Europe, in Russia, in North Africa and in Middle East.
• Responsible for the leadership, planning, organization and management of field operations to ensure the delivery of consistent and superior service, safety, quality, and technical support. • Establish effectiveness required to exceed expectations of customers, while maximizing operational efficiency and minimizing costs. • Systematically evaluate results obtained to further improve services in accordance with QHSSE, Operational Excellence plans and continuous improvement concepts. • Enhance the organization’s commitment to safety performance and champion all elements of Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, and Reliability at both base and field locations
• Responsible for direct sales to clients, provided technical support to customers in the form of sales presentations, product related training programs, and customer seminars. • Provided the leadership to achieve Weatherford’s short-range and long-range business development objectives in a particular product line. • Provided technical support for Country Sales and Account Managers and present current technology in a direct selling effort explaining Weatherford’s technical edge and superior solutions in a convincing manner. • Opened up new markets in Croatia in partnership with Turkish customers by helping broker the partnership between, till then unknown, companies.
