I am an experienced Senior Engineer with a career working within a Complex Analysis Team in Honda of the UK Manufacturing's Quality Division, leading a team of multi-disciplined engineers delivering new model Instrument Panel and other interior components into mass production. I've worked in Produst Engineering and am a Product Engineering Specialist, I've also spent time most recently on secondment to Market Quality Electrical Section until the recent closure of the Honda factory in Swindon. I have a passion for improving and developing new products (NPI) and have a sharp eye for identifying designs for production whilst encouraging and supporting individuals to drive forward their ideas. I am open-minded and adaptable with a strategic and analytical mindset and use a pragmatic and logical approach to problem solving using best lean manufacturing techniques, and problem solving tools such as Six Sigma, 5 Why Analysis and 8D. I have good communication and presentation skills with experience of working with people at all levels and have developed strong stakeholder relationships. My experience has been gained over a number of years working within various areas of Honda from early development stages all the way to warranty engineering, and I have an extensive knowledge of the car manufacturing industry. I am a member of the IET and am seen as an experienced Senior Engineer for Honda UK Manufacturing, proven to be responsible for driving our new model programmes globally.
