CEO - Federal Prison Industries, Inc. Engineered a $23.6M increase in year-over-year profits between 2023 and 2024I own the P&L for 7 business segments with up to $540M in annual revenue. FPI (dba UNICOR) is a self-sustaining private corporation wholly owned by the U.S. government. We employ more than 17,000 inmates per year in a wide variety of industries. Through my leadership, we have maintained consistent profitability despite challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on my outstanding record in the private sector, I was brought on board to improve FPI’s competitive position in the open market. By transforming operations, cultures, and technologies, I have done just that. My success resulted in my nomination for the FedScoop 50 Award in 2022. In addition, I am a voting member of the Executive Committee of the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), comprising leaders appointed by the Attorney General to oversee department operations. I provide financial and operational reporting to the committee and advise on strategic issues impacting the entire bureau. 7 major product/services areas: agribusiness, clothing and textiles, electronics, fleet, call center (services), office furniture, and recycling. As a member of the core leadership team, I defined the strategic direction for business development. ReadyOne employs individuals with significant disabilities in manufacturing jobs.
