Going on year 5 in the restoration industry. I've held jobs with Paul Davis Restoration including Matterport Specialist, Assistant to the Estimator's, and now Centralized Estimator. I can write mitigation, contents, and repairs, with most of that experience being in writing repairs. I can also write commercial or residential. Other tasks I've performed are communicating with adjusters, communicating with homeowners, running ITEL samples, invoicing, collections, and marketing at golf events. My goal with being in this industry is to grow my knowledge of home restoration & home building. I want to eventually transition these skills into real estate investing where I can put together repairs budgets on my own. There are certain trades that I will need to sub out the work, but I want to be able to perform basic repairs on my own, as well.
