Manage a newly established Sourcing Support Services team, partnering with Sourcing Managers to execute strategic initiatives including RFPs, SBRs, market research, data analysis, and other optimization efforts across key indirect categories such as Technology, Marketing, Professional Services, Finance, and Facilities.
Led strategic sourcing initiatives for the Professional Services and Finance categories, supporting Sales and Finance teams by managing supplier relationships, drafting and negotiating Statements of Work (SOWs), identifying savings opportunities, and executing sourcing activities including RFPs, Supplier Business Reviews (SBRs), and market analysis. Additionally, managed enterprise wide supplier relationships within the Professional Services category, ensuring alignment and performance across multiple business units and indirect categories.
Led strategic sourcing for the Creative and Production category within Marketing, driving a major supplier consolidation initiative, managing RFPs and SBRs, drafting statements of work (SOWs), negotiating savings, and establishing agencies of record (AORs) across multiple business lines.
• Gained an understanding of the petroleum refining process as well as the Environmental Protection Agency’s regulations on the renewable fuel industry. • Received instruction and experience from several different brokers about the trading in both physical and financial commodities. • Analyzed price discrepancies of Q3 and Q4 ethanol renewable identification numbers (RINs) as well as the spread between ethanol and biomass based diesel RINs. • Became familiarized with colonial pipeline cycles, pricing, and incoterms that pertain to the exportation of gasoline from the gulf coast. • Gathered and analyzed the price difference of butane between Mont Belvieu to the New York Harbor as well as the price correlation of butane to crude oil from 2007 to 2017. • Analyzed the price correlation of benzene to rbob, naphtha, toluene, xylene and styrene.
