At Datacom I’ve gained hands-on experience across both defensive (Blue Team) and offensive (Red Team) cyber security operations. I began in an analyst role focused on alert response, incident triage, and vulnerability management, before moving into large-scale SAST/SCA security projects for enterprise environments. Today, my work centres on offensive security and AI red teaming, performing penetration tests across networks, web applications, and APIs, and researching emerging attack surfaces in AI-driven systems. In parallel, I’ve developed full-stack web applications to automate and streamline security operations, including Attack Surface Management platforms and AI-powered pentest reporting tools. Key Focus Areas: • Penetration Testing (Web, API, Network) • AI Red Teaming & Model Security Testing • SAST/SCA & Vulnerability Management • Incident Response & Threat Analysis • Full-Stack Development (React, FastAPI, Docker) • Attack Surface Management Automation
At ATL’s largest R&D Lab in New Zealand, I led Agile testing for next-generation Linux-based Unified Threat Management (UTM) firewalls. My role combined deep network protocol analysis with hands-on validation of security, routing, and virtualisation features across all layers of the OSI model. My work involved researching and interpreting RFC standards, developing and executing test cases, and ensuring compliance with industry standards while collaborating across teams to deliver robust and secure networking solutions. Key Projects & Technologies: • Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) and Application-Aware Firewalls • IPv6 Transition (MAP-E, LW4o6, NAT46/NAT64, DS-Lite) • GRE Multipoint VPNs with iBGP, OSPF, and IPSec • Migration to Linux systemd • Network Virtualisation (LXC, NFV) • OpenFlow Software-Defined Networking (SDN) • Private VLAN Implementations
At ANZCO Foods I was responsible for inventory management business applications and system administration of Linux servers, Cisco network infrastructure, printers, IP cameras and production terminals.
