I worked with Professor Agnes Leung in the Department of Paediatrics. My project was a data analysis study to find a relationship between the mode of delivery (i.e. C-section) and the likelihood of infants getting diagnosed with food allergy. Furthermore, I also looked to find whether there was a difference in the microbiome composition between food-allergic and non-allergic infants, and I tried to identify specific bacterial species specific to food-allergic infants
