Management of all wafer fabrication areas over all shifts to ensure that production and development programs are supported and goals are met. Lead daily operations meeting and coordinate daily priorities for lot movement and equipment repair. Interface with Program Managers to understand delivery forecasts and then develop operations plan to support requirements. Interface with other groups for staffing planning, hiring, training, utilization across shifts and areas to meet manufacturing needs and labor distribution. Responsible for tracking and reporting on fab manufacturing metrics and continuous improvement activities such as scrap lot activity/inventory, cycle time, etc. Coordination of material and precious metal distribution, storage, and reclaim. Work with Materials, Quality, and Process Engineering to coordinate all material and consumable ordering and distribution. Interface with facilities and engineering on facility planning, shutdowns, and improvements.
Provide people leadership for an engineering design organization, to include performance management, career development, staffing, etc. Responsible for project and technical oversight for design activities, ownership and direction to the design processes used, proposal inputs and proposal content review for internal and external customers. Support department initiatives, including employee engagement and inclusion initiatives, knowledge transfer, and process improvement activities.
