I'm a Professional with strong negotiation and relationship building skills. I'm experienced on business development, procurement, as well as product management and sales. I am very keen on learning new stuff. I'm very passionate about aviation and have acquired a Private Pilot License in Jul '20. I Fly single engine piston airplanes in Zurich and Bern.
In this role, i am responsible for the Device Management department, including technical and personnel management of employees from various specialist areas (buyers, product managers, quality managers, supply chain planners and marketing managers). I am managing and taking responsibility for contractual and commercial negotiations with various suppliers (purchasing volume approx. CHF 900 million per year). Responsible for and ensuring continuous supplier and partner management. Responsible for category management for Swisscom's merchandise over the entire lifecycle, including product presentation in the Swisscom shop and their marketing campaigns. I am responsible for merchandise profitability (margin, turnover and sales, losses) With his role, i am acting as reliable interface to external and internal stakeholders (technology, marketing, communication, sales, legal, suppliers and partners) I am responsible for the market launch of new devices including hypedevice (iPhone) processes during the critical phase of a device go-to-market. This includes portfolio ranging, negotiations, pricing decisions under high pressure. Responsible for mobile device pricing and the SAC/SRC budget.
In this Role, i was responsible for sourcing of mobile Handsets, as well as the pricing strategy for the whole Swisscom mobile handset portfolio. As deputy teamlead, he was also responsible as sparringpartner to the head of device management, as well as trustworthy challenger of other team members. During this time, i was responsible for the launch of iPhones within Swisscom (orchestrting the team for a perfect go to market on time with the correct marketing an pricing strategy).
In this Role, Patrick developed his sales skills. He developed new and existing sales channels for the M-Budget and Wingo Brands of Swisscom. He developed the multichannel strategy within these Brands, steered the channels accordingly to the goalset he was given. Everything within his budget responsibility.
During my Military duty i had the responsibility for the F/A-18 Hornet fighter Jet, which included checking all moving and non-moving parts of the plane, checking all liquids as Fuel, Oil etc. - Daily, preflight, postflight, and turnaround inspections of aircraft - Assists the pilot in flight preparation and advises the pilot of the material condition of the aircraft - Refueling of the aircraft - Small maintenance and towing of aircraft.
