Patrick Schmid is Chief Technology officer and Managing Director at SAP Fioneer. Patrick is an experienced senior executive and management consultant, bringing 14 years in financial services industries (FSI) IT. Patrick joins SAP Fioneer from DEDIQ, where he was crucial in establishing the strategic partnership with SAP. Prior to this, Patrick co-led the transformation of one of DEDIQ’s FSI portfolio companies. Before joining DEDIQ, Patrick spent 8 years at McKinsey & Co., including roles as lead architect in many large scale FSI transformations, and three years as CIO of a major bank in Asia. Patrick holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Science from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA, USA.
