Built and led data-driven quality and stability infrastructure for a global krill-based nutraceutical manufacturer (GMP). • Overhauled and managed the full product stability program across the complete product portfolio (krill meal to soft gel capsules); introduced automation, scripting and systematic reporting; transferred the entire program after 6 years operation to Houston without downtime or data loss • Contributed to LIMS evaluation and system selection; led implementation of the stability module • Developed operational data analytics tools in JSL connecting to Google BigQuery: stability calculator, SPC dashboards, QC trending scripts and inventory analytics; built a custom add-in to simplify cloud data access for the broader team • Queried and analysed BigQuery data independently using SQL; defined data view requirements, performed user acceptance testing, and wrote queries and views directly • Applied multivariate modelling to quality and manufacturing data: MLR, decision trees, bootstrap forest, simple neural networks • Managed approximately 20 Change Controls; contributed to CAPA processes and SOP authoring under GMP • Established the Norwegian JMP User Group meeting; served on the JMP Nordic User Group steering committee • Collaborated cross-functionally with production, regulatory, engineering, digitalization and external partners across time zones and cultures, from Asia/NZ to South America
Kicked off ICP-MS analytical capability for testing radioactive pharmaceutical samples in a GMP environment; including activities from vendor selection and infrastructure planning to method transfer and full validation protocols. • Led design specification and vendor selection for a glove-box-integrated ICP-MS system for GMP testing of radioactive samples. Evaluation resulted in switching from Perkin Elmer Nexion to Agilent 8800, delivering approximately 50% cost reduction and faster delivery • Initiated analytical method transfer from Oak Ridge National Laboratory (USA) to Bayer Lysaker, including on-site visit for hands-on knowledge transfer • Developed IQ/OQ/PQ and method validation protocols under GMP, covering ICP-MS as well as supporting equipment (pH probes, balances, pipettes) • Authored method development roadmaps and validation protocols per GMP requirements • Project planning and scheduling using MS Project (Gantt chart) for laboratory area and infrastructure expansion
Two successive roles within Elkem's central analytical R&D group, supporting silicon, ferrosilicon magnesium and carbon production divisions across Norway, Canada and India (ISO 9001). Promoted to XRF specialist in 2014, expanding remit to include group-wide XRF harmonization. • Developed business cases for investments in analytical test equipment • Developed and rolled out group-wide harmonized XRF calibration materials for pressed powder pellet methods across all Elkem divisions; presented at XRF conference Kristiansand (2016) • Provided international laboratory support: on-site troubleshooting, instrument calibration and method development at plants in Norway, Canada and India • Delivered internal training on statistics, measurement uncertainty quantification and instrument calibration
