I am a Civil Engineer (ETH Zürich, Switzerland) with experience in the consulting and engineering process for large infrastructure projects with a specific focus in Hydropower, Pumped Storage, but also other Renewable Energy sources as well as in the Energy Transmission & Distribution sector. I consider myself a generalist with a specific technical focus on underground structures such as tunnels, shafts, caverns and its hydraulic design. In my career I have participated in all project cycles from early stage planning, detail design, execution and also in remedial works such as root-cause analysis and rehabilitation for such structures. I have acted as a technical advisor in various M&A transactions in the energy sector. I have also a strong business development background, building up a new unit from scratch in a new market. In the last almost 10 years I have lead a business unit with full P/L responsibility growing the business from 0 to a 50 FTE unit within a multinational consulting firm and within a multicultural environment.

Swiss Armed Forces engineer staff unit as part of mandatory military service. Active duty until April 2015 due to expat assignment, official discharge end of 2022.
