Process Specialist/TWI Trainer: • Perform precision deburring and polishing operations under a microscope. • Maintain consistent quality and workmanship of the components you process. • Process paperwork accurately and neatly. • Complete assignments in a timely fashion, staying on task, minimize interruptions of work. • Understand and comply with Quality System Requirements. • Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow standard safety procedures and requirements. • Ability to work prolonged hours underneath a microscope. • Punctual, Dependable • Properly task in and out of work orders. • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures per the LSI Solutions Employee Manual. • Perform efficiently and effectively without continuous supervision. • Capable of understanding and interacting with the production schedule board. • Capable of understanding and interacting with the PIO (Problem, Issues, & Opportunities) board. • Participate in developing standard work instructions. • Capable of searching and locating documents and work instructions in Grand Avenue Software (GAS). • Assist teammates with ERP training and product questions • Assist in managing the 5S board • Assist in managing the NCMR board • Assist in planning jobs for the department by consulting with my team leader and supervisor for myself and teammates at times, if we’re working on the weekend or an early morning. • Assist in Cleaning lab and Machine shop. Inventory Control: Teamwork environment, collaborating with multiple departments to accurately move components in a timely fashion from one job and department to another. Responsible for accuracy of work orders from start to finish and filing in an appropriate and organized fashion. Assist other departments with their supplies to keep an accurate inventory to enable a seamless component flow as well as cost savings on proper accounting and storage of supplies. Work on other projects as needed to keep a continuous improvement process ongoing.
I have had the opportunity to learn multiple roles at Thermo Fisher. Inspector/Packer: -Safety and housekeeping is priority. -Set up work area -Inspect and pack product -Complete necessary paperwork -Alert set up to any machine challenges. Material Handler: -Accurately pick and stage raw materials, components and work orders to contribute to the overall success and productivity of the department. -Support teammates to make our work experience the best it can be. -Operate equipment, walkie, walkie-rider, counterbalance safely. -Utilize SAP and other company computer programs to fulfill responsibilities. Tugger: -Identify and retrieve components correctly to complete jobs. -Set up jobs and support all teammates. -Ensure accuracy within jobs, product, labeling, move tickets. Team lead: -Support, coach, teach teammates to achieve goals together while maximizing quality and productivity and reducing scrap and waste. -Drive safety, results, process and a healthy team oriented environment with coworkers. -Ensure work areas are set up, taken down appropriately with safety and housekeeping in mind.
