I am a graduate of a level 7 & 8 in Mechanical Engineering working as an FSE at Lasertec USA. As part of my final projects, I completed a build of a One wheeled Segway and researched renewable energy for desalination solutions. The areas which I have excellent knowledge are as follows; Project Management, Electrotechnology & Electronics, Energy System Design, CAD & FEA, Troubleshooting, Pumps & Valves, Electronic & Pnuematic diagrams, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Computer Modeling, Mechanics & Materials, Mechanics of Machines, Materials, Properties & Processes and Engineering Management.
• Working as Innovation Manager to improve data collection, engineering services & implement procedures, for future use. • Research of new technologies & systems to apply to the business, (IOT devices, leakage equipment, engineering field and equipment software, water conservation technologies, & water metering infrastructure. • Completing regular improvements for the Projects Team, Leakage Technicians and Operations/Administrations while using MS office, ArcGIS, IOT Networks, Geopal Field Report software, and field knowledge to provide a clear, user-friendly environment for the users (engineers & technicians). • Generate templates & exports from site visits & data imports for Excel data analysis, AutoCAD drawings and reporting, while using VBA macros (MS Office), Geopal software, PDF, AutoCAD, and Google services.
• Working as Project Engineer to analyse & collect data from the field to generate reports for clients. • Recurring reports for the team were as follows; risk assessments & method statements / inspection test plans / water pressure testing & water sterilisation / fire hydrant testing / valve auditing / water conservation & meter auditing / IOT data logger analysis / CCTV/drone (air&water) surveys / leak detection & repairs (mechanical & civil). • Reporting & Documentation for internal & external purposes includes; Word document reports, Excel reports, PDF drawings, Interactive Google Maps, Power BI dashboards, summary reports, field data gathering. • Involved closely from the office & onsite with Uisce Eireann, county councils, and contractors on the LRP to provide data analysis, closing reports, District Metered Area (DMA) summaries, Pressure Zero Testing (PZT) and Step Tests to reduce leakage across Ireland and hit targets. • Carry out field engineering works with engineers & clients to complete surveys, carry out testing, install IOT data loggers, reduce water usage, repair leakage, and provide innovative solutions.
Working in a team of FSE's to sustain/troubleshoot Dry Etching tools and provide an adequate service for Intel Corporation in a clean room environment. This role requires excellent knowledge with electronics, hardware, software, pumps, valves, HVAC, schematics and I/O diagrams, Data Collection, Heat Transfer, Plasma, materials, gasses and chemicals. It is important to retain to the safety precautions and regularly create audits on the work completed. - Team Work - Organization, Documentation, Reports & Safety Writing - Robots, Motors, Encoders & Controls - Wiring & Cable Schedules - Electronics, Hardware & Software - Turbo molecular Pumps, Solenoid Valves, Chilling units & HVAC. - Data Collection, Pivot Table & Pivot Chart - Troubleshooting, Services & Sustaining - Toxic/Non-Toxic Gasses & Chemicals - Clean Room Environment - Plasma and Dry Etching
Facilities Manager working with clients on a regular basis. This role was to build a good relationship with the clients while providing an adequate service to their facility. Each client required different services to their facility throughout the year. I worked to ensure that services were provided at the best possible price with regard to quality. - Verbally discussed the operations of sites with callout services, service companies and staff. - Generated invoices and payments into electronic filling and kept note on excel spreadsheets. - Compared different prices for gas and electricity bills to facilitate business scale properties. - Discussed cost, specifications and quality for Mechanical, Electrical and Pipeline installations with clients, followed by negotiations with the different companies.
Student Engineer in a Controls and Automation team working on water process systems. The work required me to use skills which I learned in college daily, skills found in areas that required my knowledge in electronics (pumps, switches, lamps, potentiometers and programming), wire schedules, report writing and site plans. The practical areas which were developed require soldering on computer chips, wiring electronic panels and on site experiences. -Team Work -Organisation -Document Writing (Panel Speciation's & I/O Remote Listings) -PLC & Scada Development -Wiring & Cable Schedules -Electronic Panels (Pumps, Switches, Buttons, Lamps, Potentiometers) -Water & Water Waste Treatment Plant Drawings -Electronic Configuration of Drawings and Drafting -Purchase, Service and Installation of Electronic Equipment
