I'm an experienced architect and engineer focused on network engineering and network security. I've supported networks from small business size to regional ISP to global enterprise. I've helped to architect and maintain a large scale DDoS Defense platform for more than a decade, as well as served as a product owner for critical internal applications to ensure feature alignment as well as compliance with internal policy and controls. I'm able to quickly communicate highly technical situations to nontechnical people, and my ability to connect with my customer and quickly see to the heart of an issue has proven an asset in all professional situations.
In my role as Principle - Technology Security I am part of a focused team responsible for the development and enhancement of best-in-class AT&T products and technologies to enhance and expand the portfolio of security capabilities leveraged by both AT&T and AT&T clients worldwide, specifically AT&T's DDoS Defense solution. As part of the DDoS Defense platform team we are responsible for lifecycle development and maintenance of the overall platform and evaluating new products and technologies as potential enhancements to the platform or related solutions. I am the team Subject Matter Expert for Radware's suite of DDoS Defense products and I work closely with both the internal Enterprise network security teams and externally facing operational partners to provide key insights and develop rapid, responsive, and effective solutions. I additionally serve as the Product Owner of an internal security command and control application which has allowed me to work closely with our project and product management teams to facilitate excellent, efficient solutions to operational problems and leverage opportunities to provide efficiencies and enhancement to the downstream managed security offers serviced by this application.
Subject Matter Expert - DDoS Mitigaiton Interim Subject Matter Expert - Fortigate IDS/IPS Onboarding and Operational Support of Arbor TMS mitigation device into MSS workflow as primary DDoS Mitigation solution from preexisting Cisco Riverhead solution. Onboarding, tuning, and group training for team with regards to DDoS mitigation techniques and proceedures. Training and familiarization, Fortigate IDS/ISP (AT&T Network Based and ATT Premise solutions). Supported AT&T Managed Security Services customers ranging from small business to global, fortune 100 corporations, State and Federal government utilizing Cisco, Dragon, Juniper, Fortigate, and Sourcefire IDS/IPS implementations.
Rapid mastery of AT&T customer-facing Firewall technologies focusing on Cicso Router-based, Cisco ASA, and Checkpoint firewalls. Rapid rise to TIer 2 responsibilites including in depth technical troubleshooting and remedaition of enterprise firewall health and policy issues.
