At UPS, as an IPLD Supervisor, I contribute to optimizing internal package-level data processes and ensuring operational efficiency. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Project Management at Colorado Technical University, I am building a strong foundation in areas like project risk management, cost and scheduling, and performance evaluation. • Supervised inventory control and auditing of serial numbers for all equipment at the Lone Star Hub. • Conducted software updates and installations to ensure operational efficiency. • Developed PowerPoint presentations for training supervisors on troubleshooting equipment issues quarterly.
IPLD (Internal Package Level Data)
• Supervised the sort aisle at the Chalk Hill Hub, ensuring efficient operations during peak season. • Trained 7 new hires to handle increased overflow volume effectively. • Contributed to the sort aisle's designation as a full-time operation for 2019 due to exceptional performance.
• Supervised Primary 2 and Primary 4 sort aisles, managing a team of 6 to 10 hourly unionized employees. • Fostered effective communication with outbound part-time supervisors and full-time supervisors daily. • Recognized as Supervisor of the Month three times within a nine-month period for outstanding leadership and performance.
• Delivered an average of 300-400 packages daily to businesses and residences during Peak Season. • Collaborated with fellow drivers to redistribute volume, ensuring timely deliveries. • Operated a rental bulk van by UPS, demonstrating strong logistical skills and efficiency.
In my role at UPS, I was responsible for covering routes for package car drivers who were unavailable, as well as managing miscellaneous deliveries. This position required adaptability and quick problem-solving skills to ensure timely package delivery. I also contributed to sorting operations when not on the road, enhancing overall efficiency.
