MedTech CEO | Building a platform enabling IV → SubQ biologics | Scaling with pharma partners

About

I’m the CEO of Portal Instruments, where we are redefining how biologic therapies are delivered. We are building a platform that enables high-volume, high-viscosity biologics to move from IV infusion to subcutaneous injection, unlocking a new generation of at-home therapies. Our system combines reusable hardware with software-controlled delivery to enable therapies that were previously not feasible outside the clinic. We have secured development partnerships with leading biotech companies and are now entering a critical phase: scaling from advanced engineering to clinical-ready, manufacturable systems. I’m currently focused on building the team that will make this transition successful, particularly in industrialization, manufacturing, and program execution. In fact, we are currently hiring a Head of Industrialization / Manufacturing to lead this transition. If you’ve taken complex devices from prototype to scale and are interested in building something from the ground up, I’d welcome a conversation.
