Assigned by Topsector Logistics as adoption partner and new business development (UC Group) for iSHARE and as such responsible for rolling out the digital supply chain agenda of the Topsector by the implementation of iSHARE to share data between different market parties in supply chains.
Sharing data effortless in Supply Chains iSHARE is a uniform set of agreements or Scheme that enables organizations to give each other access to their data. Since they all work with the same identification, authentication and authorization methods, they do not need to keep making new agreements every time they want to share data.
E-fulfilment is the term for all processes, that do make sure internet orders are being processed and shipped efficiently to the end-customers. E-business is gaining leverage in retail and other branches. After a strong growth over the past 15 years, the coming years a growth of 15-20% per annum is being expected. The Netherlands by now is having 30.000 webshops. This strong growth pushes up the importance of the e-fulfilment industry. The need for well trained professionals therefor increases. The e-fulfilment Academy is a new business development initiative of UC Group and provides training, supported by Thuiswinkel.org, EVO and vLm, for anybody that is active in the area between logistics & e-commerce: Professionals in the area of logistics, IT, sales, customer service, business development, packaging, mechanisation and marketing.
