Introducing the Vascoscope: The Next Generation in Vascular Access Technology. Designed specifically for enhancing shunt access during renal dialysis, the Vascoscope stands out as a groundbreaking tool in the medical field. While Ultrasound Guided Vascular Access is recognized as the gold standard, its practical application is often limited due to the need for an additional hand to hold the probe and the lack of inline visualization capabilities for both the ultrasound image and the vascular access site. Thanks to the support from the Dutch Kidney Foundation and the University Medical Center Utrecht, and through direct collaboration with end-users, we have engineered the Vascoscope to overcome these barriers. The device features an innovative probe and stabilizer system for effortless attachment, paired with specialized video-glasses. This integration results in a user-friendly and compact solution, revolutionizing ultrasound guided vascular access by making it straightforward and widely accessible.
In my role, I collaborate intimately with the Business Unit Director to craft and execute a comprehensive strategic plan. This plan is grounded in robust facts, data, and analyses, for which I bear full responsibility, from its initial conception to its successful implementation. My involvement extends to the strategic acquisition of a national distributor, as well as the development and execution of a targeted sales strategy for the renal care division across the Benelux region. I am instrumental in forging new distribution pathways for both pharmaceuticals and medical devices, ensuring the establishment of enduring and mutually beneficial partnerships with hospital executives, medical professionals, and distributors. My efforts are also focused on innovating within B.Braun’s private clinics, transitioning in-center patients to home-based care, all while meticulously adhering to the Dutch healthcare regulations and guidelines. This strategic approach not only aligns with but also enhances our commitment to providing exceptional patient care and support.
In my capacity, I spearheaded the comprehensive Sales Management operations and associated activities for our product portfolio within the Dutch market. This encompassed the strategic Key Account Management of a select clientele. My leadership extended to managing, mentoring, and fostering the growth of a compact team of seasoned sales professionals. I actively contributed to the formulation of both strategic and operational plans, taking charge of the development and implementation of intricate commercial strategies. This role demanded a high level of expertise, strategic vision, and a hands-on approach to drive business growth and maintain our competitive edge in the industry.
