As a Supplier Quality Engineer at Diehl Aviation, I am responsible for ensuring compliance, product conformity, and continuous improvement within the aerospace supply chain. My focus areas include composite structures, wire harnesses, metallic components (stamped, formed, CNC-turned and milled parts), and surface treatments such as painting and technical/decorative coatings. I work with established standards like EN9100 and EASA Part 21 Subpart G & J, and I am certified as a Lead Auditor (ISO 19011) and Environmental Auditor (ISO 14001). My professional strength lies in bridging regulatory requirements, supplier development, and technical know-how to achieve sustainable quality assurance from first article inspection (FAI) to serial production. This expertise is backed by a part-time Master’s degree in Quality Management (in progress), a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering with a specialization in lightweight structures, and a solid technical foundation as a qualified toolmaker for stamping and forming technology. This unique path enables me to combine practical manufacturing knowledge, engineering background, and quality management competence to create value in a highly regulated aerospace environment.
