Industrial engineer with a background in industrial mechanics, technical consulting, and mechanical engineering. My experience combines hands-on production knowledge, quality-related work, and technical problem solving with a strong focus on digital manufacturing, simulation, machine learning, and automation. After my apprenticeship as an Industrial Mechanic, I spent 6.5 years in technical consulting at Ihne & Tesch and after completing further training to become an Engineering Technician worked as an analysis technician in Continental’s automotive division. Alongside my professional path, I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees (thesis pending) in Mechanical Engineering and gained practical experience working at the Institut ELSYS, CeramTec and in the scientific research project VIDS. I’m especially interested in roles where I can connect industrial experience with digital solutions in production.
In the Virtual Industrial Digitalization Scenario (VIDS) project, I contributed to the digital representation and connections of industrial production processes. My responsibilities included further developing existing models in Plant Simulation, establishing data transfer via a MQTT-server, designing and structuring MongoDB and Elasticsearch databases, and developing an ML-based learning and analysis approach in an Python environment to enable the intelligent use of production data simulated with real company data.
At CeramTec, I supported the Lean Management team with analysis and improvement work and was able to contribute independently to ongoing projects. My tasks included preparing KPIs, evaluating process data, creating presentations, and building documentations. Using Lean methods I identified optimization potential in production and supported workshops and trainings. A major focus of my work was the visualization of production processes with Solunio’s Shopfloor tool. For this, I developed custom subprograms to extend the tool’s functionality and make production data more usable. I also worked on time tracking and the optimization of manual production steps for documentation and process improvement. In addition, I acted as a neutral point of contact between departments, helping communicate issues and improvement opportunities across them. Finally, I supported ideas management as local representative at the Lauf site and helped moving employee suggestions forward.
Supported the Institut ELSYS with CAD work, assembly tasks, and general workshop activities related to the Ultrazohm project (ultrazohm.com). My tasks included creating a digital twin of the housing in SolidWorks, assisting with cable and final assembly, reorganizing the warehouse, and carrying out minor mechanical work such as drilling, milling, soldering, and building assistive devices. I also researched on the topic "pulsating heat pipes" and summarized the state of the art.
Einsatz über Zeitarbeit bei AlphaConsult im Fachbereich Leistungselektronik / Hybridelektrofahrzeuge: Prüfung, Analyse und Behebung von Prozessfehlern in der Fertigung von Leistungselektronik für hybride Elektrofahrzeuge. Bewertung von Fehlerbildern bei Testausfällen in enger Abstimmung mit der Qualitätsabteilung sowie Durchführung und Beurteilung zerstörender Werkstoffprüfungen. Pflege von Prozess- und Dokumentationsdaten in den eingesetzten Managementsystemen. Zu den betreuten Prozessen gehörten unter anderem Dosieren, Bestücken, Widerstands- und Ultraschallschweißen, Verpressen, Nieten, Schrauben, Plasma- und Laserreinigen sowie Vakuum- und Selektivlöten.
Technische Bearbeitung und Lösung von Kundenanfragen im Bereich Heizelemente, Messsensoren und Isolierungen in enger Abstimmung mit Fertigung und technischem Büro. Betreuung von Kunden und Begleitung der Auftragsabwicklung von der Anfrage über die Preis- und Terminkalkulation bis zur termingerechten Lieferung. Bearbeitung von Reklamationen sowie technische Klärung kundenspezifischer Anforderungen. Mitwirkung an der Neuentwicklung der Produktlinie „Wärmedämmkissen“ und am Aufbau der lokalen Fertigung.
Fertigung von Heizelementen und Isolierungen. Bedienung mechanischer, pneumatischer und hydraulischer Maschinen zum Biegen und Stanzen von Blechen und Isoliermaterialien. Montage elektrischer Heizelemente sowie Durchführung von Zwischen- und Endprüfungen nach VDE-Richtlinien.
